Our project will support students with disabilities in planning, planting, and maintaining a school-based herb garden. Through hands-on instruction, students will develop functional life skills, vocational readiness, communication, teamwork, and responsibility. The garden will serve as an experiential learning environment where students practice real-world tasks such as measuring, following schedules, using tools safely, and preparing herbs for classroom or community use. This initiative promotes independence, community integration, and meaningful transition outcomes aligned with employment and daily living goals.
