Applying For A Grant
Applications are currently closed.
You don't have to be an experienced grant writer! We will help you through the process. Have an idea? Click the button below to get started!
Applications eventually require detailed information about the purpose, activities, and management of the proposed program. An initial application requires just your idea and basic information. We will invite selected applicants to submit detailed project and financial plans electronically.
Applications start by clicking the button below to submit an idea by Feb 15. We'll look at the basic information submitted and invite selected applicants to complete a full proposal. Requests for the coming school year must be completed by March 1 of the current school year. Decisions will be announced on a rolling basis, so don't wait to apply.
Key information:
Grants range from $5,000 to $15,000. Multiple grants may be made in any calendar year.
While grants are made to public school districts, all grant recipients must name an educational sponsor (e.g., a teacher) and a program manager (could be the same person).
Preference is given to programs that:
Emphasize hands-on learning and/or outdoor activities,
Impact all classes in a grade,
Will be renewed in subsequent years, and/or
Offer multi-year experiences.
