STAR Science Expansion

The Marsh School is seeking to expand and enhance our existing STAR Science program for students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. While the program provides a strong instructional foundation, we aim to deepen student engagement and conceptual understanding by integrating additional hands-on tools, materials, and manipulatives. These enhancements will allow students to actively explore scientific concepts through inquiry-based, experiential learning opportunities that strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 

A Jerry Fund grant was instrumental in the launch of STAR Science. The program of hand-on and experiential learning of STEM concepts really makes us think of Jerry, a natural engineer and observant scientist at heart. We are very happy to support the expansion of STAR Science to complement the school's transition to a new Science curriculum.
